A group of sixth form students from Bede’s School near Hailsham visited Westminster, for a tour of the Houses of Parliament followed by a Questions and Answer session with Wealden MP Nus Ghani.
Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, said: “I always enjoy hosting schools from Wealden in Parliament, giving them first-hand experience of how our political system works.
“Thanks to everyone at Bede’s who helped to organise this trip, especially to the great group of students who asked challenging questions ranging from local Wealden issues to chatting about mental health, social media, Brexit and maritime.
“If you’re interested in joining me for a tour of Parliament, do get in touch, I’d be delighted to host you.”
