I am delighted to announce that Allison Wright and the Laughton Village Shop has been awarded the Wealden Hero Award this week.
The Laughton Village Shop offered to deliver food and other essentials to the villagers in a Covid-safe way from the very outset of the pandemic. Allison Wright and her team of staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to deliver the same day orders were made and support the vulnerable in the community. Their efforts are hugely appreciated by Laughton residents, who have nominated Allison and the shop for the Wealden Hero Award, to express their gratitude.
